Playoffs

It is officially playoff season in the baseball world. There are only four teams left; the Yankees, Phillies, Giants, and the Rangers. I usually cheer for a national league team but this year I am cheering for the Rangers. I like them because they are the underdog and I usually cheer for the underdog when my favorite team, the Cardinals, is not in the playoffs. If there was one team that I wouldn’t want to win it would be the Yankees. I think that the only way they can win is by buying all of the good players in the league. They are the richest team in baseball and I don’t like them particularly for that reason. The Rangers, on the other hand, are one of the “poorest” teams in baseball. “Poorest”, meaning not as much money but they definitely are not completely broke.
My predictions on the playoffs are probably not like anybody else’s predictions. I predict that the Rangers and the Giants will be in the World Series, and I think that the Rangers will win the World Series in seven games. It probably will not happen, but if it did I would be extremely ecstatic. That is what I think about the playoffs in Major League Baseball this season.
